AlanThe Wild: You (Claus and Marco) create recently a new project/band called Sequential Access. When did you decide this action? May be during the Industrial Booom – Reboot festival at Budapest, where both Leæther Strip and Decoded Feedback were performed? :)
Sequential Access (Marco): Actually the idea was in my head for a while to create a new project totally old school EBM (DAF/Nintzer Ebb/Front 242) very minimalistic with only powerful basslines and drums and I wanted to have somebody else singing on it to have a break on writing lyrics and singing to direct my creativity on the music part only. Decoded Feedback worked already with Claus (Leæther Strip) on a track on the new album -disKonneKt- and he did such a good job on the vocals and lyrics that I knew with his approval this project would work perfectly! :)
Sequential Access: Yes, this is a very old-school project. That's why the name Sequential Access fit the style perfectly.
AlanTheWild: Decoded Feedback and Leæther Strip were label mate in the 90’s under Zoth Ommog. Claus provide guest vocal on the latest Decoded Feedback album. As I know Marco and Yone are huge fan of Leæther Strip. Was there any direct connection between you beside these?
Sequential Access: Leæther Strip and Decoded Feedback stayed in touch through all this years and met here and there in Festivals. Always enjoyed spending time together online or in person. It was just question of time that some sort of collaboration would happen.
AlanTheWild: Claus lives in Denmark, Marco is a Canadian resident. What will be the working method? You will make regularly personal meeting somehow, or will You use online/offline communication like Vince Clarke and Martin Gore did during the recording, producing the VCMG materials?
Sequential Access: We are exchanging files online/offline so yes same kind of communication like you mentioned.
AlanTheWild: What can we expect from you? In what style, styles will you move?
Sequential Access: The idea is to create a very powerful and ebm project. Strong lyrics, intricate basslines and drums but your never know how a project will evolve and change. Keep tuned and new tracks will keep coming :)
AlanTheWild: Sequential Access will remain studio project? I think Budapest is a perfect place to be a world premier for Sequential Access live act! ;)
Sequential Access: Too early to tell but definitely would be an awesome live act! Budapest experience with the Industrial Booom Festival was incredible and we will definitely consider playing live with Sequential Access!
Sequential Access: At the moment I write the music (Marco) and Claus is doing lyrics and vocals.
AlanTheWild: When can we expect the first release/tracks from you?
Sequential Access: Too early to tell at this stage but things are progressing very well and we are hoping to release the first Sequential Access album in the next few months.

AlanThe Wild: Most jelentettétek be (Claus és Marco), hogy új projektet hoztatok létre Sequential Access néven. Mikor döntöttétek ezt el? Talán Budapesten, az Industrial Booom – Reboot fesztivál alatt, ahol a Leæther Strip és a Decoded Feedback is fellépett? :)
Sequential Access (Marco): Valójában már régóta ott motoszkált a gondolat a fejemben, hogy egy olyan új projektet kezdjek el, ami old school EBM gyökerekkel rendelkezik (DAF/Nintzer Ebb/Front 242), nagyon minimalista, hangsúlyos basszussal és dobokkal. Ehhez kerestem valakit, aki énekelne a zenei alapra és megírná a szöveget is, így nekem csak a zenei résznél kell a kreativitásomat hozni. A Decoded Feedback már dolgozott együtt Claus-szal (Leæther Strip) az új album -disKonneKt- egyik dalában közreműködött, és nagyon jó munkát végzett a vokállal és a szöveggel. Így tudtam, tudom, hogy hozzájárulásának, közreműködésének köszönhetően ez a projekt tökéletes lesz!
AlanTheWild: Miért választottátok a Sequential Access nevet a projektnek? Nagyon old-school hangzása van.
Sequential Access: Igen, ez szándékos, mivel zeneileg ez old-school projekt lesz. Így a Sequential Access tökéletesen illik a stílushoz.
AlanTheWild: A Decoded Feedback és a Leæther Strip a 90-es években a Zoth Ommog kiadónál voltak. Claus "vendégszerepelt" a legújabb Decoded Feedback albumon. Ahogy tudom Marco és Yone nagy Leæther Strip rajongók. Ezeken túlmenően volt bármilyen kapcsolat közöttetek?
Sequential Access: A Leæther Strip és a Decoded Feedback kapcsolatban volt az elmúlt években folyamatosan, itt-ott találkoztunk fesztiválokon. Mindig jól szórakoztunk együtt, élveztük egymás társaságát akár online, akár személyes formában történt. Csak idő kérdése volt, hogy ebből valamilyen együttműködés legyen.
AlanTheWild: Claus Dániában él, Marco kanadai lakos. Milyen munkamódszert fogtok követni? Lesznek rendszeres találkozók, vagy offline/online kommunikáción, fájlcserén fog alapulni az együttműködés, ahogy Vince Clarke és Martin Gore tette a VCMG felvételei során?
Sequential Access: Offline/online fájlcsere lesz a megoldás, szóval úgy ahogy említetted.
AlanTheWild: Mire számíthatunk tőletek? Milyen hangzást, milyen stílus lesz a "működési területetek"?
Sequential Access: A kiindulási pontunk, hogy egy erőteljes EBM hangzáson alapuló projekt. Ütős szövegek, összetett, egymásra ható basszus és ütem, de persze sosem tudhatjuk, hogy a projekt merre fog haladni, hogyan fog fejlődni. Maradjatok ránk hangolódva és ígérjük, az új dalok folyamatosan érkeznek majd!
AlanTheWild: Sequential Access stúdió projekt marad? Azt hiszem, Budapest tökéletes helyszín lenne egy első koncertnek, egy világpremiernek!
Sequential Access: Nagyon korai bármit is mondani, de tény hogy fantasztikus lenne élőben is fellépni! A budapesti tapasztalataink az Industrial Booom Fesztivállal kapcsolatban elképesztően jók voltak, így mindenképpen van arra esély, hogy Sequential Access élőben is fellépjen!
AlanTheWild: Rögzítettétek a szerepeket? Például, hogy ki szerzi a zenét, ki vokálozik?
Sequential Access: Jelenleg én (Marco) írom a zenét és Claus írja a zenét és énekel a dalokban.
AlanTheWild: Mikor várhatjuk az első dalokat, kiadványt?
Sequential Access: A jelen helyzetben túl korai bármit is mondani, de a dolgok jól haladnak és reméljük, hogy az első Sequential Access album elkészül és megjelenik néhány hónap múlva.
